Wedding Day September 17, 2011~ Part1

The Big Day..... The day that I had dreamed about ever since I was a little girl had finally arrived!

I felt like a princess, and was going to marry my prince charming. But like any Princess, there was lots of primping going on before the ball. I woke up very early in the morning, lets face it I could barely sleep because I was so filled with excitement.....Most people are nervous on their wedding day, I was so excited. Every minute seemed like an hour. All I kept thinking about was seeing Brian at the end of the mile long (okay well it seemed a mile long) aisle, waiting to embark on our new chapter of life as husband and wife.

First things first, I made sure my dress and accessories were all ready to go.

My Beautiful Dress

It was my dream dress

The Garters and Reception Hair piece

My PURPLE Nina Heels. I put "I Do" underneath the arches.....

Next, Me and My amazing bridal party went to my salon to get our hair done, and drink mimosas ! It was so nice because the salon was literally under 5 minutes away from our house...

After our time at the salon, we all headed back to the house to do our makeup , get dressed , and get ready to go to the church. I was privileged enough to have the most amazing photographer meet at the house to capture the girls getting ready. Maria Sharron is truly a gem, so talented and detailed. She took pictures of everything. I can honestly say not a detail was left out!

I had an amazing makeup artist Named Brittany come to do my makeup. It was so nice to be treated to a morning of pampering. She made me feel so beautiful  !

Next I Wrote Brian a letter . I really wanted to show him how much I loved him, so he could have a lovely hand written letter to always remember our special day.

Next, I decided with the left over lavender and white roses I was going to make a bouquet to present at the statue of Mary at the church (Catholic Tradition).

I had my mom help tie them up after I arranged them

Finally Time for us Ladies to get dressed and head out! I was so excited and couldn't wait to get all dressed up! I am such a girly girl and loved every part of the process. I was so lucky to have each special bridesmaid / family member there to share in this moment...

I love how our flower girl Ashley looks so excited in this picture...one of my favorites

They loved the sashes...lol

Sabrina :)

Two of our flower girls , getting all primped up!

Next, I got Dressed. It was quite a production...It was pretty funny too, I must admit. Me and a couple girls putting this large gown on, carefully though . It was especially hilarious when they tightened the corset back.
They did a beautiful job and I am sure they were glad to be done with it. I accessorized with all the icing a girl could want! A beautiful Swarovski hair piece, Long drop earrings and a lovely sparkly bracelet.  I finally completed my look with a cathedral length veil.

Now time to go to the Church!

Jenny my Matron of Honor, and her Husband Rob, and Robs' sister Cynthia -  a Bridesmaid ( I know its a bit confusing) Were beyond generous and paid for our Limo bus!!! What a great gift , we had a great time and thanks to them the whole wedding party got to ride in style from the Church, to pictures , to the reception.

Jenny, Lisa, and  James our limo driver helping me on to the bus!
